I've followed the evolution of eReaders and eBooks for a while. But they never really got me excited until the Amazon Kindle came out. That is a pretty cool device and delivery service. I converted my novel to the Kindle format. But I personally do not own a Kindle. I do own a Blackberry Pearl though. And I carry that sucker wherever I go. Having something to read while I'm waiting in line or waiting for my kids at their appointments would be awesome. Don't get me wrong, reading CNN.com on my Blackberry is great. But sometimes I want to reread some Bukowski books. Or Franz Kafka.
After researching some different eBook readers for Blackberries, I'm proud to say that I'm very impressed with theĀ Mobipocket eBook Reader. In fact, I'm obsessed with it!
Anyway, you can download books to your Blackberry through your computer or through WiFi or your data plan. You can customize your reading experience by changing margins, line spacing, full text justification, font color, background color, etc. You can annotate, bookmark, highlight, any part of any eBook. Awesome! And you can download and redownload books from your personal library at any time. Pretty friggin' cool! It's a sweet app for your Blackberry. But more importantly, Mobipocket is not just for Blackberries; you can get versions for your PC, Palm, Windows Mobile, and more.
Once you get it, cruise over to the Mobipocket eBook store and get your version of The Meteoric Rise of Simon Burchwood. My novel on-the-go at a great price. Please support independent publishing!
