I wrote and illustrated MIA RYAN AND HER FEARLESS CAT, ANGEL-BOY in: Tea, Cupcakes, and the Great Ant Famine for my daughter Mia when she was 3 because I was disappointed in a lot of the books she had at the time. I thought I could do a better job myself. When I finished writing it, I had it bound and the pages laminated so she could color the illustrations.
It was not a project I intended for publication. But after a few of my friends with kids of their own read it, they wanted copies for their kids. So I'm proud to announce the paperback and eBook versions of this children's story. I hope you and your kids enjoy reading it together.
Here's the synopsis:
Mia Ryan and her cat Angel-Boy were enjoying their tea party when all of a sudden one of the cupcakes sprouted legs and ran out of the house. After chasing the cupcake, Mia Ryan learns about the Great Ant Famine from her newest little friend Anthony the Ant. Read about the choices Mia Ryan makes to help Anthony and the rest of his friends.
